Level Cap Increase and Patch Notes
Blizzard has released patch notes for the latest WoW: Forever beta build, raising the level cap to 30 and unlocking a new dungeon. With the higher cap, players are now able to learn higher ranks of their professions.
Class and Item Changes
Today's build includes warrior updates posted by Blizzard, alongside a broader set of datamined class changes. Separately, the Level 20 Paladin weapon Verigan's Fist, an Alliance item, has received a new proc in the latest build.
Nerfs and Adjustments
Several adjustments arrived alongside the level cap increase. The Gnome racial "Eureka!" was nerfed for a second time in this build. Enchanting also saw changes to its crafted weapons, specifically a nerf to sell cost that removes the easy money previously available through enchanting flips. In addition, Dungeon quest XP was nerfed in this build, a move intended to slow down the leveling process after players raised concerns about it.
Fixes and Clarifications
Blizzard clarified that the Ogre and Murloc transformations previously triggered by Savory Whimsyfin Delight were only a placeholder effect and were never intended for players; these transformations are no longer available with the item.
Upcoming Beta Features
Blizzard announced it will give all players 16 Legacy Points in a future beta build for testing purposes. The company also announced a new in-game trade warning message for WoW: Forever, which will appear whenever a player trades with a stranger, as part of an effort to halt RMT.
Beta Login Issues
Blizzard is investigating login issues affecting the WoW: Forever beta.
