Beta Client Update

Blizzard has released a new client build for the WoW: Forever beta, with Wowhead reporting that the update brings changes related to controller support and Mac compatibility.

Systems Explained: Legacy Points and Spell Ranks

Wowhead published an explainer on Legacy Points, a horizontal progression system added to WoW: Forever. According to the piece, players can earn these points and spend them on perks and cosmetic rewards.

A separate Wowhead article clarifies how spell ranks work for mana-using classes in WoW: Forever. Unlike in modern World of Warcraft, spell ranks do not automatically update when a player purchases a new rank — this differs from the current live game's behavior.

Character Creation Deep Dive

Wowhead also highlighted an in-depth Blizzard article covering class options, race/class combinations, and racial abilities available in World of Warcraft: Forever.

Class and Dungeon Guides

Mobalytics published a batch of new guides for WoW: Forever. On the class side, there are now guides covering Frost Mage, Protection Paladin, Balance Druid, and a Paladin leveling guide for levels 1 through 30, each detailing talents, rotations, and race options. On the dungeon front, Mobalytics released a guide to the Ruins of Lordaeron, covering its bosses, loot, and quests.

Community Video Content

Several community videos also touched on WoW: Forever this week. One video poses the question of whether the game can realistically remain a level-60 experience. Another offers a theorycraft breakdown of an endgame build for Retribution Paladins. A third is a compilation video focused on things going wrong while playing WoW: Forever.
